Marketing Executive Account Manager

Destination Events Ltd - London, UK

Responsabilities included:

  • Re-branding operations to modernize the image of the brand and the identity of the event itself (change and promotion of a new acronym name, re-designing of logos and graphics of the events)

  • Online marketing strategies to enhance local, national and global brand awareness, through the building and development of social networking pages (Facebook and Twitter) and brand new websites, by coordinating the work of a graphic designer and a web developer.

  • Working closely with the Director of Communication on a series of traditional media promotion projects and PR

  • Managing the production of the communication material by working with a graphic designer (brochures, programmes, posters, etc.)

  • Writing the quarterly newsletter and working with an American marketing agency to design and distribute it; analysis of data (newsletter results and clickthrough records) for subsequent follow-up on prospects and email marketing optimisation. 

  • Implementation and optimisation of an overall digital marketing strategy: SEO optimisation, online advertising, PPC and PPL campaigns, A/B testing, affiliate marketing and constant data analysis. 

  • Managing the American consultants’ network of communications, with organization of conferences and seminars for them.

  • Entirely responsible for our Central and Latin American Market (research of potential clients, at least two yearly scouting trips in loco, presentation and promotion of our programs and events, management of the relationship with clients, account management, customer satisfaction and care). 

 

Online Marketing Executive

Responsabilites included:

  • Implementing online marketing strategies to support the launch and start-up phase of a new internet company: posting, sharing and creating content to increase brand awareness through all the main social networking websites and food blogs. 

  • Organizing face-to-face selling activities and promotion: planning the timing and locations for the selling, contacting the agencies which provided promotional staff and briefing the staff. 

  • Taking care of the communication material production in all its phases from choice of design to materials, printing and distribution. 

  • Managing the relationship with the main stakeholders, users and clients, through copywriting activities: newsletters, emails, conversations on the main social networks. 

 

 

Organization of events, business communication and marketing

Organizing events and education/entertainment activities (for audiences from 100 to 4000 people depending on the nature of the event) for professional hairdressers (Wella clients) all around Italy for different brands, targets and of different typology (shows, entertainment events, congresses, conferences):

  • Taking part in the creative process to choose the event format, date, location, structure, protagonists and targets according to the business goals. 

  • Writing the brief for the agencies which provided materials, costumes, hospitality, models, logistics, lighting, photography and video/audio support. 

  • Planning and coordination of communication tools and activities for the events: cooperating with the graphic designer agencies to create, design and write content of invitation cards, brochures, promotional materials, posters, banners and tickets; cooperating with the sales department to implement an efficient communication strategy to sell the event. 

  • Cooperation with the marketing department to implement brand and product marketing activities in and between the events, such as the creation and approval of newspaper advertising, production of video material during and after the events. 

  • PR activities: managing the relationships with stakeholders, speakers, VIPs, important clients and artists. 

  • Reporting activities: Power Point presentation pre and post events; writing a post-event detailed report including costs and revenues figures. 

  • Managing the customer satisfaction surveys though a partner agency: evaluating and reporting the feedback, taking part in the debriefing sessions.
